The Open Door builds foundations for puppies and adult dogs. Roadtrip Ready applies relevant skills to outings, drives and unfamiliar places. Both involve the parent, because you are the person living the rest of the week with your dog.

Founded by Mugdha Yelkar in Pune, DFI offers force-free, breed-aware training for everyday life, outings and travel. Dog Travel Readiness Training grows from those everyday foundations, with practice shaped around your dog and your plans.
The Readiness Check is the starting point. The Open Door builds foundations; Roadtrip Ready prepares suitable dog-parent pairs for travel contexts.
DFI provides training and readiness guidance. It does not operate tours, book travel, offer boarding or run a property directory.
