We use reinforcement, clear communication and manageable practice. We consider what the dog was bred to notice and do, alongside their individual history and needs.
A dog who needs to sniff, move, rest or create distance needs those needs understood. Training helps the family respond and build useful skills.

Begin with a 60-minute Readiness Check in Pune, ₹2,100. Mugdha observes the dog-parent pair, discusses your goal and identifies what to work on first. Location and any travel charge are confirmed before booking.
If structured training fits, The Open Door develops everyday foundations, while Roadtrip Ready focuses on outings and travel preparation. A full programme is not an automatic recommendation. Scope and programme fees are agreed individually.
Questions about dog training in Pune
Do you offer dog training at home in Pune?
In-person work may begin at home or in another agreed setting, depending on the goal and your dog’s starting point. Share your neighbourhood first; Mugdha confirms location, availability and travel arrangements before booking.
Do you work with puppies and adult dogs?
Yes, subject to fit and scope. Puppy work can focus on routines, communication and foundations. For an older dog, the starting point depends on their history, current behaviour and what the family wants help with.
Will you train my dog or teach me too?
Both. DFI trains dog-parent pairs. Mugdha guides the family’s communication, timing and practice so the skills can become part of daily life.
How much does dog training cost?
The 60-minute in-person Readiness Check is ₹2,100. Programme fees are quoted individually after understanding location and requirements. Any travel charge is confirmed before booking.
Do I need travel plans to work with DFI?
No. Everyday routines, walks, visitors and outings are valid goals on their own. Travel can be a later extension.
How soon will we see a change?
There is no fixed timeline or guaranteed result. Progress depends on the dog’s starting point, the environment and consistent family practice. The Check helps set realistic priorities.
Do you offer boarding or train dogs while their parents are away?
DFI’s focus is training the dog and family together. It does not provide dog boarding. Sessions include parent participation and practice between meetings.
